Bent Nielsen has spent countless hours making W. Klitgaard the good ship she is today.

Together with Børge Dam-Hansen and Arne Strandby Sørensen, they managed to get the hull , salon and galley in good condition so that the actual restoration work could begin, we are talking about here 1986, Børge and Arne had worked hard to raise funds for the first work that was done on Læsø. Bendt bumped into it 1986.

It was a huge job to get the ship approved for passenger sailing, but she got ready 1988. We owe them 3 honorary members Børge, Arne and Bent, a big thank you.
